Allan Susoeff here and welcome to another episode of AskAlHow. Most of you know me as a real estate investor and perhaps as a builder and an engineer. That’s what I do and that’s what I’ve done for 30 years. What many people don’t know about me is that I spent eight years in the Navy reserves just out of high school back in the early 80s. Economic Growth, Regulatory Relief, & Consumer Protection Act
On May 24, 2018, President Trump signed the economic growth, regulatory relief, and consumer protection act into law. Part of this new law amends the fair credit reporting act which we talked about often in credit repair. This new law requires that the credit reporting bureaus now offer free credit monitoring to all military service members who are in active duty or in the National Guard. The law went into effect on May 24 of 2019.
