What Exactly ARE Specialty Reports?
Now I know what you’re thinking. You mean there’s more than just the big three? Well yes, actually there’s many different types of specialty reports and many, many companies providing such reports.
The fair credit reporting act is the federal law that regulates the activities of any consumer reporting agency, any user of a credit report, and anybody who’s furnishing information to such agencies, and these specialty reporting agencies are no exception.
The FCRA It has a category called nationwide specialty consumer reporting agencies. These sorts of credit reporting agencies compile records on specific types of transactions.
Some of the more major ones are tenant histories, insurance claims medical records and payments, employment histories, and check writing histories.
